Toimintakykyarvio.fi service and this website have originally been developed in collaboration with Valteri School Tervaväylä and Vetovoimala between 2015 and 2017 as part of the Tervareitti project funded by the European Social Fund. In autumn 2021 the service was complemented by the Screening tool for assessing pupil's ability to attend school.

Toimintakykyarvio.fi and Screening tool for assessing pupil's ability to attend school are both free of charge services developed by Valteri Centre for Learning and Consulting. Valteri is a national centre for learning and consulting that operates under the Finnish National Agency for Education. Valteri supports the neighbourhood principle by offering a wide range of services for the needs for general, intensified and special support.
